Iain is a games industry veteran who has spent over a decade championing developers from Asia and beyond. After earning a Master of Arts from the University of Aberdeen, he moved to Asia, where he cut his teeth at Tech in Asia before founding publisher Another Indie in 2014. Another Indie which would later become Neon Doctrine. From offices in China and later Taipei, he built the company into a global publishing force, backing titles such as Lost Castle, which went on to sell over three million units, alongside acclaimed releases including Yuppie Psycho, The Simulacra Series, and The Legend of Tianding.
Along the way, he became one of the industry's most outspoken advocates for indie developers, taking a public stance on platform visibility that had real world impacts for smaller developers.
Following Neon Doctrine's merger with Raw Fury and his exit, Iain co-founded Goldpact Goblins, where he serves as President. A frequent speaker at global industry events, he remains committed to elevating underserved development regions and proving that great games can come from anywhere.
